Care Comes First

I’ve been a practicing medical professional for the Metro Manila community since 2012. I understand that your health and wellness concerns extend beyond routine medical care. I’m a highly trained, board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon and provide an array of comprehensive services and procedures in the field of Orthopedic Surgery (fractures), sports medicine and joint replacement surgery.

RESIDENCY

2006-2010

Dr. Carmelo L. Braganza finished his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital where he was Chief Resident 2010.  He was awarded Most Outstanding Resident by the Philippine Board of Orthopedics 2010.

CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP

2011

Specialized in Sports Medicine and Adult Joint Reconstructive Surgery at the National University Hospital, Singapore. During his training Dr. Braganza performed Hip and Knee Joint Replacement as well as Arthroscopic Surgery of the Shoulder and Knee.

SENIOR PHYSICIAN

2012 -present

Currently, he holds clinic at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, De Los Santos Medical Center (chief section of sports medicine and arthroscopy), Veterans Memorial Medical Center (research coordinator) and the St. Luke's Medical Center Global City.  Dr. Braganza also has >50 races experience as medical director for triathlon, duathlon and cycling events since 2013.
